In modern times the world is facing a serious problem and the problem is called “Diaspora”. Diaspora means people of one country for a better life and for economic emancipation and also for any other purposes leave their own country for any other developed country. People of one country may enter into another country in a legitimate way and also in an illegitimate way. For migration, illegitimate way is prohibited and it’s a kind of offence all over the world. If any person migrates from one country to another illegally, the concerned country has the authority to detain him. Sometimes many countries open their border on the grounds of humanity.
People of Mexico
for a better life, education, and economic purposes migrate to the United States
of America. This movie shows a group of Mexican immigrants who illegally try
to cross the border of America for a better life. Though this journey began
with hope in a while it was turned into a bloody journey. While crossing
the border, several Mexican immigrants were killed in a treacherous way by a
person who was insane.
At the time of
analyzing this movie according to human rights perspective, it shows that there
is a violation of human rights. Human rights are those rights that are
universal and inherent. It can’t be curtailed in any way. The right to life, right
to shelter, right to education, right to protection of the law, and equality before the law
are some kinds of human rights. A person’s life in any way can’t be taken away. A
man is not an animal and he has the right to life. This movie, it shows that
the insane person and his pet dog without any mercy killed those migrants
heinously. It violates human rights and that is the right to life.
